By Default the messenger button does not show at the top of ideal like the TargetCRM button does.
But the TargetCRM button does not display the new message count icon like the Messenger button does.
So if you wish to see the New Messages count at the top of ideal you must add the Messages button.
Here are the steps to accomplish that.
- Go to Applications>System Manager>Users and Groups
- Click the Groups Tab at the top
- Click the Group Toolbar button in the upper-middle of the screen
- Then at the top again under Groups click each group you want to setup. (you must click on and add the button for each group needing it)
- Scroll down to the System Manager Menu on the left hand Tree Menu and open it up.
- Then click on Messages menu item.
- Click Add to Toolbar
- Then you can move it up or down and position it within the buttons where you like.
- Click Save
- Repeat this again for each group that needs to see the Messenger button.
- This button opens directly to, and only to, the messages section of TargetCRM, vs the Target button that opens the entirety of TargetCRM.
